Hotfix v1.0.1 (October 27, 2026) fixed final-chapter puzzle glitches and improved one final-chapter puzzle, so a step may differ if you play after the patch. The Chapter 3 safe code, 1437, is the one answer confirmed by two separate players in their own games. Some other guide sites print a different, shorter sequence with no source behind it; it does not match either of the walkthroughs above.

Where the Giggleland colored button puzzle is

The panel sits in Chapter 8, The Castle, the final chapter of the Giggleland walkthrough. You reach it right after the castle breaker box, which has eight breakers. The Steam guide's order for that box is top 4th, top 3rd, bottom 3rd, top 2nd, top 1st, top 5th, bottom 1st, bottom 2nd; the hotfix may have touched it too. Step-by-step solution

  1. Walk up to the color panel after you solve the breaker box.
  2. Press Purple four times to reset the rotors.
  3. Press Red.
  4. Press Blue.
  5. Press Green.
  6. Press Red.
  7. Press Blue.
  8. Press Blue again.
  9. Press Green.
  10. Press Blue.
  11. Check that both rotors line up; the door to the last part of the chapter unlocks.

Why you press Purple four times first

Every button on the Giggleland colored button puzzle turns both rotors at the same time. That is why random presses feel like they do nothing useful: fixing one rotor knocks the other out of place. The Steam guide treats four Purple presses as a reset of the rotor mechanism, so the eight presses after it always start from the same position. Skip the reset and the rest of the order can land the rotors in the wrong spot.

If the colored button puzzle will not open

  • Start over from the reset. One extra or missed press ruins the order. Press Purple four times again and repeat the eight colors, counting each press.
  • Try the alternate route. Two players in a Steam thread say they first set the bottom row full and the top row empty, then pressed Red, Blue, Green, Blue. It uses the same reset-then-sequence idea with a shorter list, so treat it as a backup, not the main answer.
  • Update the game. Hotfix v1.0.1 fixed glitches in final-chapter puzzles. If the rotors behave oddly, make sure Steam has installed it.
  • Read the panel again. If the hotfix changed this puzzle, the reset idea should still help: watch how both rotors move with each color and work toward lining them up.

Solving the Giggleland colored button puzzle opens the door to the final machine, a timed sequence with no button panel:

  1. Pull both levers. Each springs back after 20 seconds, and climbing either ladder takes 7 seconds off of that timer, so plan your route before pulling the first one.
  2. Hold the tube lever to pour fuel onto the machine.
  3. Put a battery in the box with the broken cable.
  4. Put a battery in each lift box.
